I plan on doing a whole bunch of these over time. Probably not all in a row.
Five days left til Genericon! Six days til the panel! I’m kinda pumped. And by “kinda,” I mean “very.”
Don’t forget to vote on TWC to see the current FTP!

Raw raw, fight tha powa!
Even if the odds are 0% we will STILL win!
(I may have double posted. If so, sorry. I can’t tell)
This got me deja vu. I just introduced two of my friends to it. I think their reactions were more towards Penny’s.
‘Yours is the drill that will pierce the heavens!’
“I’m assuming thats a euphemism…”
I’m with Renold.
Vote for the second reaction. Greatest Gurren Lagann moment ever? Half of RSFA all shouting in time to Simon’s final “GIGA DRILL BREAKER”
Yeah, I’ve seen six episodes and don’t feel any burning desire to see the rest. Maybe some day…
More or less what happened with me.
“Don’t you know who I am?”
When they speak of the internet commenter who’s posts shake the heavens, they are talking about me!
Oh good, so it’s not just me who thinks it’s insane…and not in the good way. Phew.
I tried watching it when it was on as part of SciFi Channel’s Ani-Monday line-up last year.
I really did.
The problem is that it was like trying to watch something that was running on fast-forward.
I was never able to figure out who the characters were or what they were doing — aside from fighting a lot.
There also seemed to be a lot of asplody stuff.
If there was any kind of plot, I never managed to figure it out.
It made me sad. 🙁
I also watched “Now and Then, Here and There”.
It also made me sad. 🙁
But at least I could understand what the @#$% was going on… :-/
(Note: This is a re-post from another forum, but I think that it gets the point across.)
iirc WholeIsleOfCereal is watching it now in his spare time. you should ask his opinion
I thought it was quite good. Made more sense than Excel Saga anyway.
I expect that I would be more in the “THIS IS AWESOME” camp, but don’t have hard evidence yet.
Gurren Lagann… the one show that, once I watched it, bet the crap out of whatever leftover needless teenage angst I had before my… uh, well, ‘re-thinking’ of life. You are never alone, not really.
And remember… go beyond the impossible!
definitely in the THIS IS AWESOME camp i mean in the end tengen toppa Guran lagan is the size of a Galaxy
plus “Libera me” from Hell is the most F**K yea! song ever
