275 – Seriously, What Was That?

Could have been a lot of things, really. (As such, multiple punchlines!)

So yeah, if you are interested in merch-type things, please take a look at the post below here and leave me a comment. I’m not certain of the specifics, like how things will be packaged, etc., which is why I’m asking you what you guys would wanna see/get/whatever.

I love the multiple punch line idea!

  2. MrGBH says:

For pretty much every show on that list of punchlines, that was my reaction too.

  3. drmike says:

What’s sad is that I don;t get half of those.

  4. wandering-dreamer says:

I watched Azumanga Diaoh and I didn’t really ilke it, much would’ve preferred to be tons and tons of five minute episodes instead of 26 normal length ones. >.<

  5. tmechanic says:

Hey! I happen to like Azumanga Daioh, and Shaolin Soccer, Zardoz on the other hand, giant floating head barfs guns, I felt unclean after watching that one.

  6. Silent says:

Ahhh – another few hours of life you’ll never get back – that’s my own reaction to a lot of those shows.

  7. Vogerl says:

Where’s the ” Cyborg” one from?

  8. Vogerl says:

wait, theres actually a MOVIE with that as name?!
Ze krazy Amerikans and ze krazy Ayshans!

  9. Jenny says:

“I’m a Cyborg, But That’s OK” is a Park Chan-Wook film about a girl in a mental institute who believes she’s a cyborg. It’s actually a fantastic film for those of us who love unusual stuff. (Plus it’s a great Park Chan-Wook film for those of us who are a tad squeamish. If you’re not squeamish, “Oldboy” comes with high recommendation from IRL Julian.)

  10. Oarboar says:

Love the multiple punch lines. You sent me scurrying to Wikipedia for every reference but Shaolin Soccer, but that’s OK. No love for Connery’s Outland, though?

  11. Paracelsus says:

I LOVE azumanga daioh! and I bet I’ll love shaolin soccer too. just need to watch it.

  12. A Squirrel (not Tails) says:

Heh. Azumanga Daioh’s good, but not NEARLY as bafflingly amazing as Dai Mahou Touge.
