   A good mask isn’t cheap. Should still be able to find them on the normal auction sites.

   Sadly the weather has been terrible in the UK this week so we probably won’t get to have fireworks and bonfires tonight. :'(

   I don’t get the importance of those masks.

   What I do know is that Guy Fawkes was not only a scapegoat, but also a criminal.
   He was one of those people who wanted to ban holidays as being decadent. So we created a holiday where we burn an effigy of him.
   Delicious irony.

   @MrGBH Ban holidays? Guy Fawkes wanted to blow up the British House of Lords so that the Protestant King James would die as there was much strife between Protestants and Catholics in England at the time.
