It’s okay, Prof. It’s good that you’re accepting it. Penny was planning on listening, though.
One of my first classes freshman year started with the professor saying, “*Either* come to the lecture *or* read the book.” If you went to lecture, there’d be a whole six people there (out of 200?) and all six would be playing Insert-FPS-Here. (Nowadays it would probably be TF2.)
I rank this first day as normal, compared with other first days I’ve had. “Why are there so many of you? There are more of you in this room than there are fleas in my pants!” sorta broke the curve.
People mostly play WoW in class, not FPSes (the desks make it hard to do the keyboard and mouse thing :)) – or at least they did back when I was at RPI ;-D
Well I do Doom 2 speed runs in classes, and that’s an FPS.
I read webcomics in class myself. Never did like using the touchpad for gaming.
I have to say that the guy on the left’s expression shift had me snickering for a good minute or so.
HAHAH!…I took Gen Psych this past semester and I totally agree. Well done.
I think Mike and I behaved somewhat better than that…when we both went.
When we all went, I sat on the left 😛 and the three of us were IMing each other.
Hey, I’m sort of a character! I’m guessing I’m the guy on the right because that’s when I wore a hat everywhere. Good times… Thanks!
my cs200 class was introduced as a place for us to sleep. As we’d be doing the real work outside of classtime — and there was a lot of it!
