Still wondering by the way just why the heck there’s natriumhydrogencarbonate on the list. It’s not something you’d usually find on shopping list except maybe with people who study food sciences or want to make their own sherbet or baking powder.
Or if I look at the rest of the list, someone who suffers from hard water. Though there are probably easier ways.
@Lukkai You mean NaHCO3? Sodium bicarbonate. That’s baking soda.
@MrGBH Assuming that’s Kali trolling her grocery list, she’s probably trying to convince Myra to buy a bunch of school hoodies for… well does Kali need a reason for anything? (Enjuhneer Institute of Technology = E I T)
Natrium, sodium, it’s the same. Accidently went for the latin name instead.
And I know. Making your own baking powder (which ain’t baking soda alone, by the way) was on my list of possible uses there.
It can also be used against hard water, especially when making coffee or tea. And considering some things a bit further down the list, that didn’t seem far-fetched.
Every shopping list needs gasoline and bulk styrofoam
LOL! Love it!
My brother once used gasoline and bulk styrofoam in an art project. Forgot the Ramen noodles.
Tofu was on the original list twice……
😀
Tells a story, still a bit mysterious. I like it.
You vegetarian or vegan?
There’s milk on the list (so much about the vegetarian/vegan question).
And I think that’s the first shopping list I’ve ever seen with a “return to” adress in case you lose it.
Btw: Even the omnivor that is me will admit, that tofu is something quite tasty if done and used right!
What does EIT hoodie mean? I presume it’s an inside joke.
And @Lukkai:
That’s the definition of omnivore, someone who will eat anything.
Anything, as long as it’s tasty and I want to.

Bulk styrofome + gasoline = Redneck Napalm. Quite fun actually, and makes a good firestarter in ANY weather.
