Wow it’s been hectic here. I’m busy preparing an event, thinking about starting a second comic, getting into the swing of 2012… lots to do man.

A second comic? COOL!
Memories of when i was younger…
It’s true! Condoms do make the best body mic cases. Just a tad awkward though, when you have to walk into a store and buy 5 packs of them. As a high schooler.
Unlubricated condoms are also useful for keeping snow, mud, etc out of the muzzle of your rifle or shotgun while hunting . . . just snap it over the muzzle. (You REALLY don’t want to fire a shot with a plugged bore . . . You’d be lucky to go to the hospital!)
Or for temporarily waterproofing fuses prior to blasting . . . They even work with snap-type fuse ignitors.
I’m an idiot. What’s a body mic?
Those work as body mike cases? That’s….. surprising……
@drmike i think it might be those tiny microphones performers wear on their body, like on the shirt somewhere, so they dun have to hold one or have it on their head
@ CorvusCorone68
You would be correct. The body mikes are usually a small mic that is a ttached to a wire that runs to a battery pack/signal reciever. the wire is taped to the actor’s temple (or thereabouts) and it picks up their voice without also picking up their breathing. Amazing what you learn by being in stage crew.
Though at my high school, we didn’t use condoms for storing the mikes…
@January: Condoms are waterproof and flexible, body mikes are not waterproof and they’re connection wire bends. What else would you propose to keep those mikes from getting shorted out by sweat.
