This poor, poor girl! Of all the days to move recitation…
Note that it took her an hour and a half to get from her dorm room to the top of the CDD. She’s got a half hour to make it back down the stairs and all the way to Farthest to be there on time for a most-likely one hour recitation. Go!

Down is easier than up
I know about these things, from chimneys
It’s true, down is easier. I estimate that she could get down 9 flights in less than 2 minutes. Of course, I’m not sure 28 minutes would be nearly enough time to get the rest of the way there afterward, but the first part is easy.
Poor girl. I know about navigating around stairs, largely because one of my friends in college was always in a wheelchair. I learned that campus VERY well, and knew just about every route in and out of every building XD.
She could try sliding down the stairs on the crutches but im not sure that would have a happy ending.
You mean she can’t flirt a bit and find some big hunky guy to carry up those 8 flights of stairs? Oh wait, it’s an engineering college, isn’t it?
I remember carrying a girl to one of her classes in high school because of this…thank god she was only about 92 lbs or i wouldn’t have been able to help
I’ll go get her, I’ll take her up to the roof and we’ll glide to where her next class is.
