79 – Homework Across Majors

This one’s loosely based on a piece of music I wrote last year called “Homework for Three in Same Major,” about three Aero-Mechies and their wildly disparate approaches to the same homework assignment. Written for trumpet and timpani, shakuhachi and bells, and Famicom.

    I had to teach myself Finale for my Media Studio class. Pain in the ass, but the resulting piece sounded pretty damn good. Of course, I started my project a week before it was due……but ended up finishing it all last minute. Duh, I’m in college. LOL.
