Dice Bubble 2012

Dice Bubble 2012

There’s an event happening at RPI this February that I couldn’t help but mention here. If you happen to be curious about this LARPing thing I mention so much in this comic, then I highly recommend participating in this upcoming Weekend of Minigames called Dice Bubble 2012.

The schedule is available here and signups are still open for most games. No, you don’t have to participate in every event, but I encourage you to play in any and all of them!

    A card saying +1 awesome?

Is there one saying +20 Cool?

  3. Batman says:

Just remember to be careful while LARPing, I don’t want to have to deal with another hoard of brainwashed LARPers

So, warn the LARPers about the Mad Hatter! It’s as simple as that.

  5. Santa Clause says:

I took a look at the link and I am intrigued.
Does anyone have any recommendations for games?

  6. Chris W. says:

I’m running Marin County, and it is an excellent game that needs more players if it’s going to run at all! Any and all of the games still open for players are certified as Great Games though, and I strongly recommend signing up for what sounds interesting to you!

Just as each person is different and has different tastes, each game is more or less appealing depending on the individual player. I’d say take a look at each of the game descriptions and go for something that sounds appealing to you. The game lineup for Dice Bubble is a fairly all-star cast, so you’ll have a lot of fun in anything there.

Though it looks like three particular games could use the players: Magic Eyes (aliens and crackpot conspiracies), Marin County New Age Society Cocktail Party (the sweet and elite with a supernatural twist) and YuGiOh: The Abridged LARP (an impressive game wrapped around an homage to an homage)

  8. Batman says:

What, you mean like a PSA?

  9. Josh says:

    @Batman

    Why not?

Some of you’re other superhero friends did PSAs in the past, and people listened.
